Every day brings us a new opportunity to start over. Yesterday is gone and you can't change it. You can, however, make changes in your life today that will improve your life in the future. So, take a few minutes to evaluate how your life is going, determine what changes you need to make to improve it and start making those changes today. Life is too short to procrastinate about doing the important things. Once a day is gone, it's gone and you can't get it back. Make each day be your best day and start now.
This picture was taken at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park a few years ago. Every time we go there it looks different. It's effected by many things, such as the weather, how dry the air is, how well the hot springs are working, the passage ot time, etc. What things are effecting your life? What things are making you change? Are you changing for the better or sliding backwards? What changes do you need to make to ensure that your life is going in the right direction? This natural wonder has no control over what happens to it, but you do. Each day when you get up, remember that this is the first day of the rest of your life and that what you do, and how you think, does have an impact on the rest of your life. So, put a smile on your face and have a wonderful and productive day.
If you enjoy reading quotes, thoughts or photo tips & looking at pictures, you've come to the right place. I may not post every day, but I will post frequently & I'll be posting a lot of pictures and information from Yellowstone. Be sure to check in often & leave some comments for me. It makes blogging a LOT more fun! Enjoy!

Alone in the Woods
"Deep in the woods I sat for a long time with the trees.
Feeling their roots reach deep in the ground,
watching their leaves stretch toward heaven,
basking in the joy of being present
with their beauty." Author Unknown
This picture was taken in Montana a couple of years ago. I added a little lens flare in PhotoShop to create a more dramatic effect. Isn't it strange how we try to avoid lens flare "in camera" and then sometimes add it in PhotoShop? LOL!
I hope you enjoy the quote and the picture. Have a wonderful day. :-)

The Woods
"One attraction in coming to the woods to live was that I should have leisure and opportunity to see the spring come in." Henry David ThoreauSpring is here and it looks like today is going to reflect that. I hope you'll go outside and enjoy the beautiful world that we've been given.
Have a wonderful day!
