Reflections
Reflections can make very interesting subjects for pictures, but you have to make sure that the subject itself is interesting. Sometimes something as simple as these rocks will work to bring the viewer into the picture. There was too much distracting information in the background here, so I eliminated it to focus on the rocks and a few of the weeds. I hope you enjoy it.

The Simple Beauty of Nature
"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simply beauty of nature." Anne Frank (1929-1945), Netherlands.
If you ever feel like things are too crazy and that your life is spinning out of control, find a beautiful spot outside where you can relax and commune with nature. It will help to put things back into perspective and rejuvenate your soul.
I wish you a day filled with beauty, love and inspiration.

Eyes & Beauty

"If eyes were made for seeing, then beauty is its own excuse for being." Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882), USAThis is Spouting Horn on the island of Kuaui. It's a beautiful spot and these picture shows a little different perspective than what you'd usually see. As is often the case with nature photography, particularly seascapes, I don't think you could ever get two pictures alike at this location. The waves are constantly changing & the horn spouts indiscremently and unpredictably. In situations like this, you have to focus and shoot right before you think the water is going to shoot up; otherwise you won't get the shot. Nature photography can be challenging but, in my opinion, it's definitely worth the time and effort.

Like A River
Like water flowing over the rocks in a river, our lives touch all who are near us. Let your life leave good marks on those you touch.Tuesday, September 15, 2009
Take only pictures, leave only footprints. In other words, when you're enjoying our wonderful natural world, don't disturb its' beauty. Enjoy it, photograph it, love it, but don't leave anything behind and don't take anything away, except your photos and your memories. That will let others enjoy it too. Have a great day!
